Rested XP

Our server features a Rested XP mechanic called the Focus System. Focus is a special resource (capped at a maximum of 1,000) that you can spend passively while playing to give yourself powerful boosts and quality-of-life bonuses.

How to Gain Focus

You do not need to actively grind to earn Focus. It is designed to reward you for taking breaks or relaxing on the server.

  • Offline Rest: The primary way to gain Focus is simply by being offline. When you log back into the server, you will automatically be granted Focus based on how much time you spent away.
  • Spa Zones: You can also regenerate Focus while playing by standing inside designated "Spa Zones." For example, there is a small spa area located at the main server /spawn where you can relax and watch your Focus regenerate over time.

Using Your Focus (Bonuses)

Once you have Focus, you can spend it by toggling on specific bonuses. While a bonus is active, performing related actions (like mining, taking damage, or catching Pokémon) will consume a small amount of your Focus pool in exchange for the boost.

You can toggle the following bonuses on or off at any time:

  • Mining Fortune (mining_fortune): Grants extra drops when mining blocks.
  • Iron Skin (iron_skin): Reduces the amount of damage you take from attacks.
  • Haste (haste): Allows you to break blocks significantly faster.
  • Cobblemon Catch (cobblemon_catch): Increases your catch rate when throwing Pokéballs.
  • Cobblemon XP (cobblemon_xp): Converts your consumed Focus directly into extra XP for your Pokémon.

Command Reference

You can manage your Focus and toggles using the following commands:

  • /focus info - Opens a summary showing your current Focus amount and the status of all your bonus toggles.
  • /focus check - A quick command to see your current Focus amount (e.g., 500 / 1000) without opening the full info panel.
  • /focus toggle <action> - Turns a specific bonus on or off. (Example: /focus toggle haste).
  • /focus bossbar on or off - Toggles a visual bar at the top of your screen so you can constantly monitor your Focus levels without typing commands.
