Earning money is essential for buying Pokéballs, rare items in the Shop, and high-tier Pokémon from other players on the GTS. This guide covers the most effective ways to build your balance on the server.

1. Custom Fishing (Spawn Zone)

One of the most reliable ways for new players to earn money is by fishing at the designated zone at Spawn.

  • Special Fish: Catching fish with high weight and rare size tiers (like Trophy) can net you significant profit when sold to the Fisherman NPC.
  • Fishing Rewards: Catching or defeating Pokémon that you hook in the zone provides a direct monetary reward. Shiny Pokémon caught this way give a massive multiplier to the money earned.

2. The Global Trade System (GTS)

If you have rare Pokémon, high IV competitive teams, or Shinies, selling them to other players is often more profitable than any NPC method.

  • Normal Listings: List your Pokémon for a set price and wait for a buyer.
  • Requests: Check the "Requests" tab in the GTS menu to see if players are offering large sums of money for specific Pokémon you might already have in your PC.

3. Selling to the Server Shop

You can sell almost any vanilla resource back to the server using the /shop command.

  • Farming: Large-scale automated farms for crops can provide a steady stream of income.
  • Mining: Selling excess ores and stones is a great way to earn money while you hunt for evolution stones in the wild.
  • Focus System: Using your Focus on "Mining Fortune" will help you gather more materials to sell back to the shop for higher profit.

4. Trainer Battles (EV Dojo & Battle Tower)

Defeating NPC trainers is a consistent way to earn money while simultaneously training your Pokémon.

  • EV Dojo: Battles here are quick and reward a small amount of money per win.
  • Battle Tower: Higher-level gauntlets in the Battle Tower provide much larger rewards upon completion. The more difficult the challenge, the better the payout.

5. Summary of Methods

  • Early Game: Stick to the Fishing Zone at spawn and sell your catches to the Fisherman NPC.
  • Mid Game: Build automated farms and sell resources to /shop, or battle trainers in the EV Dojo.
  • Late Game: Conquer high-level Battle Tower tiers and trade high-value Pokémon on the GTS.
