Global Trade System (GTS)

Global Trade System (GTS)

The Global Trade System (GTS) is a player-to-player marketplace specifically designed for trading, selling, and requesting Pokémon. You can browse active listings to find the exact team member you need, sell your own catches for profit, or post "Want Ads" for specific Pokémon.

Important Location Requirement: You cannot use GTS commands from the wilderness. To access the system, you must physically travel to the GTS/WT Building located at the server Spawn.

Browsing and Buying (Normal Listings)

While standing in the GTS building, type /gts to open the main interface. Here, you can browse all active Pokémon that other players are selling. If you have the required in-game balance, you can purchase them directly from this menu.

Selling a Pokémon

You can list a Pokémon from your party to sell it for money.

  • Command: /gts sell <slot> <price> (where <slot> is the 1-6 position in your party).

The Request System (Want Ads)

The Request feature is the reverse of a normal listing. Instead of selling what you have, you post exactly what you want (a specific species, level, shiny status, etc.) and what you are offering in return. Other players can fulfill your request if they have a Pokémon that matches your criteria.

1. Creating a Request

You can offer either in-game currency or a specific Pokémon from your party in exchange for the Pokémon you want. The only absolutely required criteria is the species, but you can add optional filters like minimum level, shiny status, gender, hidden abilities, and IVs.

  • Offering Currency: /gts request create currency <amount> pokemon <species> [optional filters...]
  • Offering a Pokémon: /gts request create <slot> pokemon <species> [optional filters...]

2. Viewing and Fulfilling Requests

To see what other players are looking for, open the main /gts menu and click the Requests button (the writable book icon). This switches the menu to the Requests view.

  • If you have a Pokémon that matches a player's criteria, you can click their request, select the matching Pokémon from your party, and confirm the trade.
  • You will instantly receive their offered currency or Pokémon, and your Pokémon will be sent to them!

Claiming, Canceling, and Expiry

Claiming

If someone buys your listed Pokémon, or if someone fulfills your Request, the rewards do not go straight into your inventory. You must manually claim your money or your received Pokémon. Type /gts claim to collect them from your claim bin.

Canceling

If you change your mind about a listing or a request, you can cancel it. You can do this by clicking your own request inside the GUI, or by typing /gts request cancel <id>. Your offered Pokémon or reserved currency will be returned to your claim bin.

Expiry

All listings and requests have a time limit. If nobody buys your Pokémon or fulfills your request before the timer runs out, it will expire. You will need to use /gts claim to get your Pokémon or currency back.

Limits and Taxes

To maintain a healthy economy, the GTS has limitations on how long listings last, the tax amount taken from your sales, and how many active posts you can have.

Note on Limits: Normal listings and Requests share the same active cap. (For example, if your limit is 5, you could have 3 normal listings and 2 requests active at the same time).

These limits are tied to your Playtime Rank. As you rank up by playing on the server, your GTS limits will improve!
