Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Welcome to the comprehensive FAQ! This page covers the most common questions regarding our custom mods, mechanics, and server economy.
1. Fisherman & Custom Fishing
How do I know if I am inside the official Fishing Zone at Spawn?
Type /fisherman zone visualize. This will display a glowing border of flame particles around the active fishing area. Type it again to turn it off.
What are "Special Fish" and why do their weights and sizes matter? Special Fish are custom catches (like King Salmon or Golden Cod) that come in different size tiers (Small to Trophy). The heavier the fish and the higher the tier, the more money it is worth.
How do I sell the fish I catch to the Fisherman NPC? Right-click the Fisherman NPC at Spawn to open the Sell Menu, place your fish inside, and simply close the menu. The money is automatically deposited into your balance.
What happens when I hook a wild Pokémon with my fishing rod? The Pokémon will either spawn peacefully in the world for you to catch, or it will immediately force you into a wild battle.
Do I get bonus money or items if I catch a Shiny Pokémon in the fishing zone? Yes! The server rewards you with money, EXP, and sometimes items for successful encounters. If the Pokémon is Shiny, those rewards are heavily multiplied.
2. Netherchests (Mass Storage)
What is a Netherchest and how is it different from an Ender Chest? A Netherchest is an advanced digital storage network that categorizes your items by type and can hold thousands of items per slot, completely replacing the need for massive chest rooms.
How do I increase my Netherchest's capacity beyond the default 1,000 items? You can upgrade your capacity by crafting and installing Storage Drives (Tier 1, 2, or 3) or an Infinity Core.
What does the "Void Module" do when my storage is completely full? If your Netherchest reaches its maximum limit for a specific item (like Cobblestone), the Void Module will automatically delete any excess you try to insert, keeping your inventory clean.
How do I use a Nether Link and a Hopper to automatically sort items? A Nether Link is a physical chest that connects to your digital network. Place a standard Minecraft Hopper pointing into the Nether Link, and it will automatically pipe items into your Netherchest.
How can I access my Netherchest remotely? You can craft a "Nether Index" to view your network remotely, or a "Nether Chime" to fully open and interact with it from anywhere in the world.
3. Focus System (Rested XP)
How do I earn Focus points passively? You earn Focus automatically by being offline, allowing you to build up "rested" points for your next session.
What are "Spa Zones" and where can I find them? Spa Zones are designated areas (such as the one at Spawn) where you can stand to actively regenerate your Focus points while you are online.
How do I spend my Focus points to get buffs?
Type /focus toggle <buff> (for example, /focus toggle haste). Performing related actions will slowly drain your Focus in exchange for the boost.
Does the cobblemon_catch toggle actually increase my Pokéball catch rate?
Yes. While this toggle is active, throwing Pokéballs will consume Focus but grant you a higher chance of a successful catch.
How do I turn on the visual Focus Bossbar at the top of my screen?
Type /focus bossbar on to display a visual meter of your current Focus points. Type /focus bossbar off to hide it.
4. GTS & WonderTrade (Player Economy)
Why does the server tell me I need to be at Spawn to use the /gts command?
To encourage community interaction, all global trading must be done physically at the GTS Building located at the server Spawn.
How do I list a Pokémon from my party for sale on the GTS?
While at the GTS Building, type /gts sell <slot> <price> (where <slot> is the 1-6 position in your party).
What is a GTS "Request" and how do I use it? A Request is a "Want Ad." Instead of selling a Pokémon, you offer money or another Pokémon in exchange for a specific species you want. Other players can fulfill it if they meet your criteria.
If someone buys my Pokémon, how do I claim the money they paid?
Type /gts claim to collect your money (or any returned Pokémon) from your personal claim bin.
Why is there a cooldown timer when I try to use WonderTrade? The cooldown prevents players from spamming the system. You can reduce your WonderTrade cooldown by playing on the server and increasing your Playtime Rank.
5. Chest GUI Shop (Server Economy)
How do I open the server shop to buy basic materials and Pokéballs?
Type /shop anywhere in the world to open the main server store.
How do I quickly sell an entire stack of items to the shop? While the shop menu is open, Shift + Right-click the item in your inventory to instantly sell all items of that type.
Can I sell excess crops and mob drops to the server for money?
Yes! While you can navigate to the /shop to sell items, the fastest way is to use the sell commands. Hold the item you want to sell in your hand and type /sellhand to sell just that stack. If you want to sell your entire inventory's worth of that item at once, type /sellhand all.
How do I check my current in-game balance?
Type /bal or /balance.
Do higher Playtime Ranks get special discounts in the server shop?
Depending on server configuration, higher Playtime Ranks may grant you access to better sell prices or exclusive shop categories. Check /ranks for your specific perks.
6. Pokémon Daycare (Passive Leveling)
Where is the Daycare Interaction Zone located? The Daycare is a physical location on the server. You will receive a chat message when you have successfully entered the interaction zone.
How much does it cost to deposit a Pokémon into the Daycare?
Depending on the server's economy settings, there may be a small deposit fee taken from your balance when using /daycare deposit <slot>.
How fast will my Pokémon gain levels while sitting in the Daycare? By default, Pokémon gain 1 level for every 24 hours they spend in the Daycare.
Is there a maximum cap on how many levels my Pokémon can gain per visit? Yes. A single Daycare visit will only yield a maximum of 10 levels. You must retrieve and re-deposit the Pokémon to train it further.
Can my Pokémon trigger an evolution while training in the Daycare? Yes! If server settings permit, your Pokémon will automatically trigger its evolution upon retrieval if it passed the required level threshold.
7. Shiny Guard (Shiny Locking System)
How close do I need to be to a Shiny Pokémon for the server to lock it to me? When a Shiny spawns, the server will lock it to the closest player within a 128-block radius.
What happens if another player tries to catch a Shiny that is locked to me? They will receive a warning message in chat stating that the Pokémon is locked, and they will be unable to interact with, battle, or damage it.
How long does the Shiny lock last before it expires and becomes public? A Shiny lock lasts for exactly 30 minutes. If it is not caught or defeated by then, it becomes available to everyone.
How do I unlock my Shiny if I want to let a friend catch it?
Stand near the locked Shiny and type /shinyguard unlock. This will broadcast a message to the server that the Pokémon is now up for grabs.
Will my locked Shiny despawn if I accidentally walk too far away from it? The system features persistence. If it despawns, it has a very high chance of respawning in the exact same area so you can continue your hunt.
8. Cobblemon Breeding & Hatching
What specific blocks do I need to start breeding two Pokémon together? You need a Pasture block. Place it down and put two compatible Pokémon (sharing an egg group and opposite genders) inside it.
How do I know when my Pasture block has successfully produced an egg? You will see heart particles floating directly above the Pasture block. Simply right-click it to collect the egg.
How do I warm up an egg in my inventory so that it hatches faster? You must carry the egg in your inventory. Having a Pokémon with the "Flame Body" or "Magma Armor" ability in your active party will make it hatch significantly faster.
What does giving a parent a "Destiny Knot" do for the baby's stats? If a parent holds a Destiny Knot, the baby is guaranteed to inherit 5 IVs from its parents instead of the default 3.
How do I use Power items to pass down a specific perfect IV? If a parent is holding a Power item (like a Power Bracer for Attack), they are absolutely guaranteed to pass down their specific IV for that stat to the baby.
9. Community Day Events
What exactly happens during a server Community Day event? A specific, featured Pokémon species will experience a massive outbreak, spawning everywhere in much higher numbers than normal.
Do I need to travel to a specific biome to find the featured Pokémon? Yes, the announcement will tell you which biomes the featured Pokémon naturally spawns in. You must go to those biomes to find them.
Are Shiny rates boosted for the featured Pokémon during the event? Yes, the chances of finding a Shiny version of the featured Community Day Pokémon are significantly increased.
Will I get special item drops for defeating the featured Pokémon? Depending on the event configuration, catching or defeating the featured Pokémon can yield bonus EXP or special items.
How do I know when a Community Day is about to start? There will be a global announcement in the in-game server chat as well as in our official Discord server.
10. Chunk Claim (Grief prevention)
How do I claim the land I am standing on to protect my base?
Stand in the chunk you want to protect and type /cclaim claim. You can check who owns your current chunk by typing /cclaim check or by watching the action bar above your hotbar when you walk across chunk borders.
How do I see the exact borders of my claim?
Type /cclaim show to toggle a glowing particle border along the chunk's edges. The colors tell you the claim's status: yellow means you own it, blue means another player owns it, and green means it is unclaimed wilderness.
How do I let my friends build and open chests inside my claim?
First, add your friend to your trust list by typing /cclaim ally add <playername>. Then, enable specific permissions for your allies using commands like /cclaim allow ally block-break on and /cclaim allow ally block-use on.
Can I let public players use a specific door or machine without trusting them with my whole base?
Yes, you can whitelist specific blocks! Type /cclaim allow select to enter selection mode, then right-click the specific blocks or entities you want to share. Finally, type /cclaim allow block block-use on to grant access to just those selected blocks.
How do I get more claim chunks so I can protect a larger area?
Your maximum claim limit is tied to your permissions (which can increase as your Playtime Rank increases). You can check how many claims you have left by typing /cclaim info. Keep in mind that claiming a chunk may also deduct a set price from your in-game balance.
