Netherchests (Mass Storage)

Netherchests (Mass Storage)

As you progress into the late game, standard chests just won't cut it anymore. Netherchests is a custom, advanced mass-storage network that allows you to safely store thousands of items and access them from anywhere.

Instead of traditional inventory slots, a Netherchest categorizes your items by type and stacks them far beyond vanilla limits.

The Storage Network

Storage Pages

When you first open a Nether Index, your GUI is separated into Pages. You start with 1 page, which can hold a limited variety of item types. As you progress, you can unlock additional pages to store a wider variety of unique items.

Capacity & Upgrades (Modules)

By default, your network can hold a maximum of 1,000 of each item type. However, you can upgrade your network's capacity by crafting and installing Modules:

  • Storage Drive Tier 1: Adds +4,000 capacity per item.
  • Storage Drive Tier 2: Adds +20,000 capacity per item.
  • Storage Drive Tier 3: Adds +100,000 capacity per item.
  • Infinity Core: Grants infinite storage capacity.
  • Void Module: A utility module. If your network reaches its maximum capacity for a specific item, this module will automatically void (delete) any excess of that item you try to insert, keeping your inventory clean.

Automation: The Nether Link

If you want to automate your storage, you need a Nether Link.

Remote Access Tools

You don't always need to be standing in front of your Netherchest to access your items. You can craft two special tools for remote management:

  • The Nether Index: A special book that acts as a viewing interface for your network.
  • The Nether Chime: A powerful remote access tool that lets you fully open and interact with your network from anywhere in the world. It has a limited durability of 256 uses.

How to Obtain

Crafting

All Netherchest components and modules are crafted using a special command, provided you have the necessary ingredients in your inventory.

To craft an item, use the following command structure: /netherchests craft <item>

(Use the Tab-Complete feature in-game to see the exact names of the items you can craft!)

Server Shop

You can also purchase each item from the shop for a sum of money if you do not wish to craft or gather the materials yourself.
