Here are the most common questions players ask on the server. If your question isn't answered here, feel free to ask in the community Discord!
Economy & Trading
How do I make money? The best ways to earn money are selling fish to the Fisherman NPC at Spawn, completing Battle Tower gauntlets, or selling items and Pokémon on the GTS. You can also sell most blocks back to the server using /shop.
Why can't I use /gts in the wild? To encourage players to visit the server hub and interact with others, GTS and WonderTrade commands are restricted to the GTS Building located at Spawn.
Fishing & Encounters
Where is the Fishing Zone? The Fishing Zone is located at Spawn. You can see the exact boundaries by typing /fisherman zone visualize.
What are Special Fish? Special Fish are custom catches that have unique species, weights, and size tiers (Small to Trophy). They are worth significantly more than vanilla fish when sold to the Fisherman NPC.
Can I catch Pokémon by fishing? Yes! When fishing in the Spawn zone, you have a chance to hook a wild Pokémon. These encounters can be peaceful catches or immediate battles depending on the roll.
Pokémon Training
How do I gain Focus? Focus is earned passively by being offline or by spending time in designated Spa Zones, such as the one at Spawn.
What is the EV Dojo? The EV Dojo is a training facility at Spawn with low-level NPC trainers. Battling them is a fast way to train your Pokémon's Effort Values (EVs) and gain early levels.
Claims & Safety
How do I protect my base? We use the GriefPrevention mod. Use a Golden Shovel to select two corners of an area to create a claim. This prevents others from breaking blocks or opening your chests.
What happens if a Shiny Pokémon spawns? The Shiny Guard system will automatically "lock" that Pokémon to the closest player for 30 minutes, preventing others from stealing your find.
